HERE YOU HAVE THE POEM

I carry your heart with me

I carry your heart with me (I carry it in
my heart) I am never without it (anywhere
I go you go, my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing, my darling)

I fear no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet) I want
no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always
meant and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which
grows higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

I carry your heart (I carry it in my heart)

GHASTLY HALLOWEEN

Ghastly … Halloween

When Witches go waltzing ... & ... demons & ... evil brains & ... Skulls & ... vampires &...

J.A. has said! Nothing to add.

That brain gives me the creeps, P.L.J.!

Really! Do you think you scare me wearing that head! It must be so smelly.

One thing I must say: You do brush your fangs thoroughly! So white and shiny!

Another monster with a well kept set of teeth, fangs outstanding. You both must keep you dentist busy! And happy!

Fact is, … do you think one of the two above could take you to the dentist?

Those teeth are really horrid!

Misty? … Foggy? … simply  reddish  and dark.

POETRY BRINGS US TOGETHER

Before Thursday 29th
(speaking practice)

You will have to:
  1. Read the lyrics of this poem underneath carefully
  2. Be ready to explain some of the sentences during the lesson

Watch both movie clips to explain :
  1. What's her job?
  2. Why doesn't she want to read?
  3. Why is she reading that way?
  4. What advise does the old resident give her?

POETRY BRINGS US TOGETHER

ONE ART

The art of losing isn't hard to master;
so many things seem filled with the intent
to be lost that their loss is no disaster.

Lose something every day. Accept the fluster of lost door keys, …

I lost two cities, … two rivers, a continent.
I miss them, but it wasn't a disaster.

Even losing you (the joking voice, a gesture
I love) I shan't have lied. It's evident
the art of losing's not too hard to master
though it may look like (Write it!) like disaster.
